I tend to end up reading too many things at one time. To quote Dorcas Lane, 'it's my one weakness.' I homeschool 2 highschoolers and read to teach them. I am in BSF so I am reading Isaiah. Tabletalk magazine from R.C. Sproul comes in my mail monthly. It's too GOOD not to read. I have a fondness for anything history. I am currently reading "His Excellency" by Joseph Ellis. So often I get so much going on inside my head, I can't process it all. I don't have that gift.
My goal with reading this year, as it always has been, is to be more INTENTIONAL with what I'm reading. To process the information and do something with it. A few years ago when I wrote. It helped me do just that. I love to discuss what I'm reading, so feel free to pipe in.
As I seek to grow in the 'wisdom and admonition of the Lord'-- writing my thoughts down, whether they make sense or not, seems to help me work through what I'm processing. This is the place I choose to do it.

Numero Uno
As I look back over the years of reading, processing what I'm reading and understanding what I'm reading-- I can see that when I write, I understand, grow and learn much better.
This was a goal in the new year, to write again. To process my thoughts as I think about them. Mull them over. Study. Ruminate. Ponder. Consider. Meditate. Examine. Chew On. Reflect. Weigh. Dissect.
All part of the process of my sanctification. Maybe not for you. But for me. It helps. So begins my journey.
